“Everything But the Angels” – The Tim Whild Interview

Written by Sangi Dave

It would seem that Tim covered everything but the angels in this podcast. Chakras, dragons, unicorns, reiki, near death experiences, past lives, Atlantis, three dimensions, four dimensions, five dimensions… There were bits and pieces of angel references, but mostly, Tim spoke of different aspects of earth consciousness, of the evolving spiritual dimensions on earth. At the end of the interview, I wondered why there was not more angel talk. Then I realized something. You don’t learn about angels by hearing only about angels. In fact, it was by hearing Tim speak of many other aspects of spirituality that I was able to put previous discussions on angels into context. By learning about dragons, I learned about angels. By learning about unicorns, I learned about angels. By learning about Atlantis, I learned about angels. I learned about angels in their relation to everything else, as a piece in the mandala, a piece in the kaleidoscope: angels are not separate bubbles of white light; they are in relation to everything else.

This podcast excited me intellectually; but it also sparked me spiritually, emotionally and experientially. I was immediately drawn to dragons as soon as Tim described their nature. I started to work on a dragon meditation. It turned out to be one of the most grounding experiences I have had in recent times. I felt and saw within my imagination, a majestic dragon sitting quietly and with dignity in a pasture. It was almost like she was in her own dragon yoga pose! She was as big as a school bus. She taught me to ground within myself; to find strength and stability from within rather than looking to the outside. She had power in who she was, not in a power to exert over others. I have used this meditation regularly over the last week since listening to Tim’s interview.

I was also struck by how he focuses on people connecting with their soul of experiences of Atlantis during the golden period, not the downfall. I felt this trickle into my body as I listened and it really opened me. You see, I had a golden period, an Atlantean period in my own life. It was a period of continuous mystical experience, connected to Source for months on end. When the experience ended, I felt a downfall within my being. And I have spent years trying to re-connect with my spirituality, but always focused on the destruction of it. When Tim suggested that people connect to the golden times of Atlantis rather than the desolate times, I took it as a spark to re-charge my memory and experience of my actual mystical experience.

I thank Tim for the unique gifts I received listening to this conversation, and I urge you to listen as well. No doubt you will pick up on a gem or two yourself!

The “Double Whammy” – The Mary E Gates Interview

Written by Sangi Dave

Click here for the podcast interview link

There was a very strong theme running throughout this beautiful conversation with Mary E. Gates. That theme is the double whammy.  Mary brings polar opposite elements together in a powerful union of heaven and earth in her healing practice.  What does this mean?  She combines angels from the ethereal spaces and crystals from the physical earth spaces.

I also recognized the double whammy in how Mary talks about healing oneself so that one can go out and heal others.  She does the inner work to go out and do the outer work.  Of course, this makes sense in terms of the oxygen mask metaphor on airplanes: we must put the mask on ourselves and save ourselves if we have any hope of helping others.

Another instance of the double whammy was in the way Mary is able to both learn from others and formulate her own unique ideas.  She went to classes and learned, then she came up with her own unique healing practice.  This is a form of critical thinking that is so crucial to have in a world that encourages obedience and conformity.  Mary sets a good example for all of us; that we can go out and learn from others, but not follow blindly. Ultimately we must be rooted in our own intelligence and do what is right for us.  I am especially highlighting this, because I see so many people in the spiritual world trying to drink in the practices of others wholesale without doing the critical work of making it their own.

A double whammy is also evident in the title of her practice: Divine Healing with Mary. Mary clearly says that her healing practice is not about her; she is only a conduit for Divine energy.  In this way, she creates a union of the Divine and the human in her practice.

Yet another form of the double whammy is Mary’s ability to work with adults and with children.  In the group Helping Hands, Mary and her fellow Lightworkers help children with cancer to heal.  And if I haven’t pointed out enough of these double whammies, here is another: Mary does both in-person healing and remote or distance healing.  I am just blown away that she is able to bring together so many dualities in her spiritual practice.  A very unique and lovely individual, Mary was quite a blessing to me as I listened to her talk about her powerful work.

“Angelic Yoga” – The Delia Carreon Interview

Written by Sangi Dave

Click here for the podcast interview link

When I think of communicating with angels or higher beings, I think of the mind and heart. We visualize, we channel, we meditate. Yet Delia shows us that the body is just as important. If you think about it, this is pretty radical. Delia opens up the possibility of using the body as communication – through yoga. In fact, through her integrative yoga practice, Delia can access the angels.

Remember that the word “integrative” means to bring together. Delia is bringing together mind, body, and spirit to enable communication. There is also another way in which her yoga practice is integrative. If you look on her website, you will see that her yoga practice brings together both science and spirituality. Yoga – described here as a spiritual science – reminds me of Einstein’s famous words: “Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.” And indeed, you can hear this in Delia’s words as well. The way she speaks of resonance, for example, reflects both science and spirituality. She says “Resonance means an amplified response in a receiving system which is attuned to a mystic system, just like the radio… Just as when we attune the radio to a certain frequency, we are able to receive the signal from a radio station, transmitting on that frequency.  In the same way, the human body is connected to the universe, through the energies from the universe. Through yoga, we really learn how to connect.”

We see a third level of integration in Delia’s podcast, and that is social integration. Although there are benefits to doing the spiritual exercises alone, the energy becomes amplified when we practice with others. One of the beautiful tools used in her practice is the Angels Online Meditation Group. These are free online webinars that allow people all over the planet to come together and connect with angels.  In the spirit of integration, the website describes the angel meditation group as “bringing people together in sharing the energies of love, peace, compassion… inspired by angels and archangels.” It is just like the concept of resonance as amplifying frequencies: the process of meditating together creates a field of high frequency energy which will incress the level of consciousness of Humanity. As we have heard in the podcasts, the angels are always ready to help – all we need to do is ask!

Go to the website at yogaonlineacademy.com/angels-meditation-online-group to subscribe to the group for free. The group meets every first and third Sunday between 7:00pm and 9:00pm, Central Europe Time. This is such a great opportunity to experience communion with angels, participate in a collective healing meditation for Planet Earth, listen to presentations, and much more!  Delia has experienced the angels so deeply; and we can too!

Interestingly, Delia’s spiritual path began when she was a child, as often happens with highly attuned people. I especially felt drawn to her experience of being saved mysteriously, but when she turned around there was no one there. These formative experiences helped Delia to believe in angels. At first, I did not know quite why I perked up as I heard the stories. Then, a memory bubbled up that had been stowed away for years. I remember sleeping as a child in my Long Island home. It was around five in the morning when my father usually left for work. Before leaving, he would sometimes stroke our heads with love. Well, one night I felt my hair being stroked. When I turned around though, no one was there. I also did not hear the familiar creaking of the floorboards, which happened when my dad was walking away. It must have been some divine presence.

Thank you, Delia for the new insights and sweet stories to help me connect with my angels!

Numbers, Numbers, Numbers! – The Kim Helene Hosken Interview

Written By Sangi Dave

Click here for the podcast interview link

111.222.333… The last time I studied numbers, I was in a math class figuring square roots and sums! Kim’s work here with numbers, however, has nothing to do with linear mathematical logic. She says that these quirky and idiosyncratic number sets are, in fact, tools of communication from the angels – they are an easy way for angels to get our attention.  #7 Kim Helene Hosken

So, if I see a 111 flash before me such as in a street address as I am driving, it might be the angels nudging me to watch my thoughts because they are manifesting. With different sets of “three’s” having different meanings, I was transported back to a dear friendship I had in my twenties which was imbued with “Angel-speak”.  Natalie and I would spend countless moments noticing these numbers (especially 111 and 333) just pop up in life seemingly out of the blue. We would then try to decipher the meaning and message that the code might be trying to relay to us from the beyond. Listening to Kim’s podcast helped me reconnect, not only to memories of a dear friend, but also to the spiritual practices involving the angels – which had somehow gotten buried in the attic of my unconscious.

When Lightning Strikes – The Rosanne Heaton Interview

Written By Sangi Dave

Click here for the podcast interview link

I really vibed with Rosanne Heaton – not only because she is a fellow New Yorker with a lovely dialect that takes me back to childhood, but also because she made several statements that struck me like lightning. First, she says that prayer is not a luxury – it is spiritual bread and butter. This stopped me in my tracks. Next, when asked to describe her approach to prayer, Rosanne replied: “My life is a prayer.”  #6 Roseanne Heaton

Taken together, if prayer is spiritual bread and butter, and Rosanne’s life is prayer – it then follows that her whole life is spiritual bread and butter. The profound message that struck me here like lightning is that prayer does not have to be separate from life – it can be life itself!

Imagine a life that is infused with the quality of prayer, one that is ever-connected to Spirit. This is pure magic. The bhakti tradition of Hinduism encourages the life of prayer as Rosanne describes. I am suddenly opened up to a memory of being continuously connected in prayer to the Goddess. I felt that angels and other light beings and deities helped me to connect through prayer that is real and embodied, not just a hypothetical mental exercise.

I imagine that this is what Rosanne means when she says in her inteview: “Either you choose God, or you don’t.”  In this moment, Rosanne – I choose God.

Light at the End of the Struggle – The Jean-Maurie Puhlman Interview

Written By Sangi Dave

Click here for the podcast interview link

Jean-Maurie’s podcast was so genuine – who would NOT connect with her message? Of course, I can only speak for myself. Let me tell you – I could not help but follow her message like a trail of breadcrumbs.#5 Jean Maurie Puhlman

First of all, she was teased and ostracized in school throughout her grade school years. I too was bullied and outcast growing up. In Jean-Maurie’s case, physical factors such as a cleft palate earned her merciless name-calling. In my case, it was my nerdiness and, perhaps also, my ethnicity that landed me a one-way ticket to the outcast group.

Just like Jean-Maurie, I too suffered from social phobia. Although I come across as socially buoyant and butterfly-ish, I too sunk into deep recesses of isolation. Just as Jean-Maurie gave up on guys, I still doubt that my quirky and colorful personality will attract a meaningful relationship. Yet, as I listen to Jean-Maurie, I feel a twinge of hope. She says, “If only people knew how much they were loved.”  Do the angels really love us even when we are trapped and so myopic that we can only see the negatives of our circumstances? I now feel that new answers are possible as I take in Jean-Maurie’s life experiences and messages from the angels.

Earth Angel and Mystical Artist – The Amanda Clarke Interview

Written By Sangi Dave

Click here for the podcast interview link

This was a conversation I could listen to again and again. Amanda’s voice and presence were just so fresh and youthful. Through this channel of youthful energy came so much wisdom. At the age of four, she experienced an epic healing. By talking about God and the angels at school, she wove her spiritual curiosity into everyday life. By healing her mother’s migraine at the age of nine, Amanda learned that spirituality is not only useful for the epic events of our lives, but also for our everyday ills. Ever after, Amanda Clarke was launched into a life of spiritual service.

Not only did Amanda live out her spirituality in childhood, but she has grown to be an earth angel – a member of the spiritual community bringing love and light to an ailing world. As an intuitive channel, she helps others to heal and find clarity in their lives.  Amanda is a mystical artist as well, depicting animals, landscapes and feminine energy in a harmonious whole.

AMANDA CLARKE

The sky light is often dimmed because it is nighttime, or twilight, or just a soft dawn. How interesting that when we speak of angels, we think of bright light and luminosity as core elements. Yet in Amanda’s art, we see the light softened. Here, I remember quite poignantly the message of her guardian angel that she read in the podcast: that the presence of angels arrives in different ways.

Not only was it riveting to hear Amanda’s stories and insights, but I also got a new understanding as she talked about clairsentience. I had heard the word before, but suddenly it just made sense.  Feeling is the channel that I am most attuned to.  How had I not realized this before?  Now I feel that I have language to describe my experience: clairsentience.

I was also affected by her two channeled readings.  It was almost as if the message from Archangel Michael about dealing with our fears and lower energies was speaking directly to me! I got chills as I had been wondering how to deal with dysfunction in my family and dysfunction in the world around me as political unrest is on the rise. I felt a cord connect to some source inside me as I made an effort to really connect to the world outside me. I also felt a resonance with Amanda’s second reading from her personal guardian angel, whose message was that we should be open to angelic communication in many different forms.

I feel the desire to open my senses even more to receive messages even in unexpected ways.

Thank you, Amanda, for all the gifts you bring the world – in your podcast, your art and to me!  The theme of our film, THE GLITCH, is “Everyone deserves an angel.”

In this instance, Amanda Clarke is an Earth Angel, guiding us to connect with our Divinity.

Soul Medicine – The Michelle Newten Interview

Written By Sangi Dave

Click here for the podcast interview link

Boy, did this talk stir me! When I heard Michelle Newten speak of her medical background, my ears perked up like a Boston Terrier at the sound of a Frisbee. There was a time in my life that I wanted to go into the medical field. I too wanted to be a medical professional (a medical doctor, actually) as an earth angel. #3 Michelle NewtenI thought little about money or status, but rather was enraptured with the joy of service: helping, loving and serving others in pain. I set aside that endeavor, but I have always wondered how others might combine their spirituality with their medical practice.

Unlike Michelle, I lost my spiritual connection before I finished my second decade. I retreated inside myself and “forgot” my love of service through medicine. To hear Michelle maintain her professional life as a nurse while connected to Spirit thus holds a particular intrigue for me. She says that people get signs all the time, but they are too busy, not observant or too riddled with self-doubt to trust the signs. I fall into the third category. I am very observant, never too busy to look for signs and pay attention, but I am ever-doubtful about the validity of the messages. For instance, when I am down and suddenly someone shows up in my life to give me kindness and support, I am the doubter who asks, “What if it is mere coincidence?” Yet, Michelle beckons me: “Miracles just happen when you totally tune in and believe and trust in what they can bring you.” Thank you Michelle, Earth Angel.  Nurse.

To Serve or Not to Serve? – The Eileen Anglin Interview

Written By Sangi Dave

Click here for the podcast interview link

Eileen Anglin’s message is to help people elevate their lives in a way that is so down to earth!  She says: “Our work is not about transcending this world to get to a better place; our work is to be fully present here; to heal ourselves, and our planet in the spirit of service and compassion.”  I really love how she explains that our work is to heal – to move past our fears and our feelings of not being good enough.

EILEEN ANGLIN

As a woman of color, I struggle quite deeply with feelings of not being good enough in both the eastern and western cultures. This is not my struggle alone but belongs to so many around me. This political turmoil that has gripped the United States has exacerbated the feelings of minorities everywhere. We see the angry, politically charged posts on social media, which Eileen mentions. This is anger that must be healed.

It is especially in these times that we need to work on ourselves and our hurts so that we can help heal the world together, in the spirit of service. And what is so key in this effort is avoiding the trap of narcissism and self-absorption, as Eileen cautions. I can certainly relate to this, because there is a seductive allure to going within and staying within, in the spirit of self-discovery. But as Eileen says, we must emerge from this self-absorption. It is service to others that is essential to our spiritual development. And it is that commitment that really opens up our relationship to the angels. I had a really profound and prolonged mystical experience in which I was able to go within to emerge as a loving citizen of humanity. The more I gave to others in service, the more I felt light grow within me. It was really such an amazing experience.  I remember feeling the thrill of introspection – of seeing the inner dynamics of how the mind works and the various layers of my unconscious mind. The introspection, however, did not turn into self-absorption.  If anything, the more love I felt inside for myself and the divine within, the more I felt love for others. I remember feeling so inspired to help others solve their problems and experience joy.  So there is a very personal place inside of me that was touched when I heard Eileen talk about working on ourselves without falling into the trap of narcissism.

As Eileen emphatically says, we are co-creators with the angels. This is really powerful if you let it sink in. If you just listen to the miracles that Eileen has experienced, with the angels palpably present to help her avoid disasters, you have to ask yourself: “How does she do it?” How can each one of us have a relationship to the angels at such a profound and intimate level?  Eileen guides us as she explains that you have to first have the desire to open up to them and work through your fear.  You have to understand your role as a co-creator, rather than a passive recipient of angelic communication.

Eileen really offers a concrete and down-to-earth understanding of not only our relationship with the angels, but of our relationship to the planet and humanity as a whole.

I whole-heartedly recommend you give yourself the gift of connection to this amazing, inspiring woman; listen to her brief interview on our podcast: HOW TO CONNECT WITH ANGELS.

Spiritual “Pressure Points” – The Lorna Byrne Interview

Written By Sangi Dave

Click here for the podcast interview link

Folks, it is so important to know going in to these HOW TO CONNECT WITH ANGELS podcasts are not theoretical sound-bytes; they are meant to be taken in and digested in a very personal way.  Lorna’s words spoken during her deeply moving interview really touched me. In fact, there were several “trigger points” that opened me up to forgotten thoughts and experiences tucked away in the attic of my unconscious, just waiting to be discovered again.

LORNA BYRNE #1
LORNA BYRNE

Her message immediately resonated with me when she said that angels love even a “bad person”.  In a culture that values conformity and material wealth, I often feel like I am a “bad person”.  As a goofy, idiosyncratic, quirky girl who would rather read a good story than hunt for a high-paying desk job, who would rather contemplate the life of a spider than cruise malls to be up to speed on the latest fashions… I often feel that I do not fit in.  Believe it or not, I am a millennial who would rather speak in-person than text!

Being different leaves me feeling like I am a “bad person”.  This is a wound I struggle with every day.  So you can imagine how soothed I felt to hear Lorna say that angels love everyone – even the “bad people”.

Next, I heard Lorna urge adults to become more like children, and I felt at home.  I often get in touch with my child side. I watch cartoons, do collages from children’s picture books and cultivate joy for the small things like ice cream and hugs. Am I weird? I reconsider my stuffed animals, my cartoony scrapbooks, all the times I have Shrek on auto-play. Perhaps they have a purpose after all!

Another trigger in this podcast was Lorna’s discussion of the power of prayer, of the universality of prayer across all faiths.  I was raised in the Hindu faith. Scripture seemed to encourage us to follow our truth, to privilege God over societal conditioning, to pay attention to our intuition. Yet, people interpret religion in different ways. Living in a competitive and materially-oriented world, my family and relatives privileged status and financial success, many times, over the exploration of one’s inner soul. In a profound spiritual experience as a teenager when I surrendered to God (Krishna in the Hindu faith), I felt the power of societal conditioning fade away. I belonged to something much bigger, wiser and transcendent. God was “fuller” than Wall Street; God meant more than the Dow Jones Industrial Average; God loved in a way Walmart cannot. Through prayer and sustained surrender, I was able to access the miracles and strengths of my inner resources that allowed me to be resilient in the face of an oppressive culture that held money and success as Gods. The power of prayer really did work for me.

Lorna Byrne is an Irish mystic who has experienced angels and the power of prayer since childhood.  The time you take to listen to her interview, is a gift to your soul.
