As an alumna of the University of Memphis, she began her film education working on a variety of student projects, and the last of which – SNACK TIME (A Will Bryson film) – was recognized as “Best Hometowner Narrative Short” at the 2014 Indie Memphis Film Festival in Memphis, Tennessee. As a native New Orleanian raised mostly in Memphis, Briana made her way back home to New Orleans, Louisiana, in the Summer of 2015.
She has since grown her film career and worked on independent low-budget films and medium-budget corporate commercials alike. With experiences as gaffer, grip, assistant camera, short and feature screenwriter, pre-production marketer/social media campaigner, and production assistant – she continues to diversify her background within the film industry.
In addition to film, Briana works as a private and corporate events photographer, website designer/developer, and small business marketing consultant. With a need to feed her general passion for art and creativity, she is also a local artist.
